The top 10... well, maybe more than 10, but the top ranked, general purpose art schools in the US most definitely include:
- Rhode Island School of Design
- School of the Art Institute of Chicago (not part of that AI chain)
- The Cooper Union (which, if you can get in, is FREE!)
- California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts)
- Cranbrook Academy
- Art Center College of Design
- Carnegie Mellon
- UCLA
- Virginia Commonwealth U
- School of Visual Arts
- Maryland Institute College of Art
- Pratt Institute
- San Francisco Art Institute
- Mass Art

And there are others I'd argue could go on that list of ten-plus, but the above schools are generally acknowledged to be very, very good.
